FIELD: heat-and-power engineering equipment, particularly for installations operating without communication with atmosphere. SUBSTANCE: system is used for installation cooling by storing of required quantity of cryogenic oxidizer - oxygen, processing water and metal hydride into installation before activation thereof in mode not communicated with atmosphere. Steam from steam generator is fed in reactor simultaneously with metal hydride, for instance, lithium hydride. Hydrogen fuel is generated into reactor. Diesel exhaust gases enter diesel input through oxidation catalyst, steam generator, generator of absorption refrigerating machine, reactor and mixer. At the end of compression stroke gaseous hydrogen is supplied from reactor to diesel combustion chamber. The resultant combustible mixture is ignited by potassium spark-plug. Heat from hydrogen-generating reaction, which takes place in reactor, is transferred to working medium of absorption lithium bromide refrigerating machine through cycle with intermediate coolant to generate cold. Heat removed from diesel by cycle with intermediate coolant is transferred to working medium of absorption lithium bromide refrigerating machine to produce cold.
