FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices providing safety on road. Proposed device contains ring pressure transmitter and awakening system arranged on steering wheel, and sound alarms, safety system and vehicle controller. Ring pressure transmitter is arranged for contact with cushions of extreme phalanges of fingers of driver's hand. Transmitter is connected to vehicle controller by electronic circuit consisting of series-connected interference protection unit, threshold unit, awakening system and signal matching unit. EFFECT: improved safety owing to effective keeping the driver from falling asleep when driving the vehicle. 2 dwg
