FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device for monitoring a person's wake contains electrodes, an analogue-to-digital signal conversion unit, a system service module, a device control microcircuit chip and a pre-processing microcircuit chip. System service module comprises a charging power supply, a BlueTooth module, an audio notification system and a main control board. At least one electrode is passive non-invasive non-gel, and at least one electrode is double-contact indifferent. EEG and EMG signal processing software is integrated into the control board. Pre-processing microcircuit chip is configured to recognize the total EEG signal in range of 0–70 Hz, to extract 8 wave bands, to recognize the EMG signal on the operation of the above-eye muscles and to interpret the signals into the data. Device elements are made in structural unity in the form of a head-worn appliance providing for reception of signals from the scalp of the user's head—from forehead outer surface and at point, in which cerebral bioelectric activity is absent. Providing real-time determination of fatigue, monotony, absent-mindedness and indication of falling asleep state to ensure safety of a user with the help of a device made in a convenient form for everyday use in the form of a headdress.
EFFECT: higher accuracy in determining the wakefulness of an individual due to an integrated approach to obtaining data of bioelectric signals of two types of EEG and EMG, as well as simplicity and ease of use, system self-sufficiency for implementation of required tasks and embedded solutions, possibility of further technological development due to reprogramming of service module microcircuits in order to introduce new processing algorithms as they are analyzed.
