FIELD: flying vehicle landing systems. SUBSTANCE: runway is equipped with four reference points mounted on its longitudinal and transversal axes. Information on coordinates of reference points and magnitude of relative bearing of runway is transmitted to flying vehicle. Radar observation of earth surface is performed from flying vehicle and distance between reference points and flying vehicle is determined by signals from these reference points. On basis of these data, heading of flying vehicle, bank and pitch angles and vertical velocity are calculated for forming control signal in horizontal and vertical planes. EFFECT: enhanced safety of flight. 3 dwg
