FIELD: space engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed spacecraft has orbital compartment with coupling unit and bottom, descent vehicle having window, instrumentation bay, power compartment, detachable units for connection of descent vehicle with orbital and power compartment and parachute system. Spacecraft is provided with descent vehicle having central module and three end modules evenly distributed around it; modules are rigidly, tightly and detachably connected by means of connecting members, three stabilizers located on outer surface of each end module. Interior of end modules is communicated with interior of central module by means of passage. Windows are evenly distributed over surfaces of modules. Parachute system includes two parachutes and is mounted in recesses of side end modules. Connecting members are made in form of flanges. EFFECT: enhanced stability in atmosphere; increased space for observation. 4 dwg
