FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method includes dividing of opencast field into blocks, loosening of rocks within block, opening and extraction of pay bed with location of overburden rocks into worked-out space of worked-out block. Blocks are divided into parallel stopes in direction of their mining. Pay bed of next stope is located on pay bed of previous stope. Overburden rocks of next block are located onto worked-out space of subsequent stope of previous block. EFFECT: higher efficiency of placer mining. 1 dwg
