FIELD: heat power industry, chemical and power engineering. SUBSTANCE: surface heat exchanger includes body with tube bundle with branch pipes feeding and removing heat transfer agent, front water chamber with two partitions dividing tube bundle into three parts, rear upper chamber and supporting feet of body. Front water chamber is fitted with additional branch pipe to remove heated medium, branch pipes feeding and removing heated medium are interconnected by means of pipe-lines with gate valves. Supporting feet have same height and form angle of inclination of tube bundle towards front water chamber. Proposed invention makes it feasible to secure and retain optimal speed of travel of medium through tube bundle with change of flow rate, to diminish amount and rate of growth of deposits inside tubes, to ensure required cooling of heat transfer agent which leads to improved heat exchange, rise of thermal capacity, stable operation of deaerators, prolonged time between overhauls and service life of heat exchanger. EFFECT: enhanced operational efficiency and reliability of heat exchanger. 2 dwg
