FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: vertical steam-water exchanger includes housing with branch pipes of steam supply and discharge of its condensate, tubing system consisting of banks of straight tubes of heat exchange surface, lower distributing water chamber with partitions dividing the chamber into compartments; heated water inlet and outlet branch pipes, upper turning water chamber with partitions dividing the chamber into compartments, and discharge pipeline. Heated water inlet branch pipes are located on each compartment of lower distributing water chamber, and heated water outlet branch pipes are located on each compartment of turning chamber; at that, water outlet branch pipes from the first, the second, and the third compartment of turning chamber are connected to external pipelines with gate valves respectively to the second, the third and the fourth compartments of distributing water chamber and outlet pipeline with gate valve, and the last compartment of turbine chamber is connected through external pipeline with gate valve only through outlet pipeline.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of heat exchange process, adjustment of heat load and temperature of heated water at the outlet of heat exchanger owing to excluding some part of heat exchange surface from operation.
