FIELD: hydroacoustic equipment of fishing vessels. SUBSTANCE: method disguising underwater noise of fishing craft includes formation of artificial hydroacoustic signal with the aid of emitting line located on craft imitating noises created by fish, sea animals and other sea inhabitants. It consists in preliminary formation of data bank of noises and sounds excited in aqueous medium by sea inhabitants at different times of day, twice as minimum: in the morning, after sunrise and in the evening, after sunset. Bionic noises and sounds in fishing water area are received with the use of hydroacoustic receiving line located on craft. Portraits of noises and sounds of fish and sea animals closest by spectral characteristics are found in data bank and signal of portrait of disguising noises and sounds imitating bionic noise of sea inhabitants selected from data bank is emitted into aqueous medium. Disguising signals imitating sounds of sea inhabitants are formed at two or more points on craft. Statistic relation of these emitted signals with normed coefficient of correlation function is from 0.15 to 0.8, its value is chosen depending on desired extent of apparent source of sound. EFFECT: disguising of noise of fishing craft as noise due to marine life. 4 dwg
