FIELD: sonar measurements; measurements of electric and sonar components of total interference to operation of sonar system during mooring trials (at stop, with operating engines and machinery).
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes measurement of components of total interference to operation of receiving hydraulic system made in form of sonar array located in shipboard dome and receiving channel. Proposed method includes also determination of energy spectrum of total interference at output of receiving sonar system, determination of energy spectrum of electric component of interference at receiving channel output after replacement of sonar array by its electric equivalent, determination of energy spectrum of sonar component of interference in form of difference of energy spectra of total interference and its electrical component. Acoustic screen is mounted on sonar array aperture at sound passage coefficient ensuring reduction of level of total interference to -6 dB relative to level of electrical component of interference.
EFFECT: possibility of determination (identification) of noise, vibration and structural components of interference.
