FIELD: electrical engineering; manufacture of large double-tier batteries for underwater equipment suffering impact thrusts. SUBSTANCE: positive and negative plates of battery blocks are provided with side hanger eye-and-comb assemblies; two parallel inner walls of battery tank are provided with inserts disposed between combs of upper and lower blocks and projections above comb level of lower block; upper block rests on eyes through combs and two inserts supported by combs of lower block; the latter is suspended from eyes on tank projections through combs.
