SUBSTANCE: in agreement with invention lead-acid cell includes electrolyte, unit of negative and unit of positive electrodes isolated by separators and packed in envelope from acid-resistant synthetic cloth. Polypropylene cloth fabricated by weaving of polypropylene complex threads with density of 15-20 tex and polypropylene yarn with density of 22-30 tex is utilized as cloth for envelope. Number of warp threads is 40-50 and of weft is 26-36. One side of cloth with long weft trestles has nap. Nap side of cloth is used as internal side of envelope. EFFECT: strong adhesion of cloth of envelope to positive active mass which prevents completely its melting and leads to reduced corrosion of positive current tap and release of gas and to prolonged service life of lead-acid cell and its raised capacitance. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
