FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the sphere of electrical engineering and is to be used in production of lead starter accumulators and batteries on their basis. According to invention shunt of negative electrode has two stiffening ribs (upper and lower one). On upper rid there is an eye arranged for connection of negative electrode to pole bridge. Upper part of shunt eye at depth of submersion into bridge of 5-7 mm is arranged in the form of trapezoid. At the same time ratio of upper eye end lengths to lower end equals 0.5-0.6, ratio of shunt thickness to tape thickness makes 1.55, ratio of cell height to length - at least 0.72.

EFFECT: reduced consumption of alloy, increase specific energy by 5-7%.
