FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: method involves reprocessing protein-containing wastes of hydrobiont catching and reprocessing trade, said reprocessing including simultaneously grinding raw material and raw king crab hepatopancreas; diluting homogeneous mixture with water, with raw material and water ratio being 1:0-1:2; heating to temperature of 45-55 C, preferably 50 C, with natural pH value being maintained for 0.5-8 hours at raw material and protein-splitting agent weight ratio of from 1:0.001 to 1: 0.100; setting enzymic hydrolysis conditions depending on required hydrolysis extent; in case hydrolysis extent is at least 30%, separating solution by centrifuging and purifying with the use of polymeric coagulant with concentration of 0.1-2% in hydrochloric acid from 0.5 to 2 mol./l; after adding of coagulant, holding solution for 0.5-2 hours; centrifuging and filtering suspension; drying clear hydrolyzate for obtaining of final product, which may be used as protein base for microbiological media; drying residual deposit for further usage as protein base for feed mixtures.
