SHAKING BED Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, particularly, physiotherapy; applicable in prophylaxis, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with pathology of internal organs, extremities, vertebral column. SUBSTANCE: shaking bed consists of frame, panel, generator of mechanical vibrations with control device. Frame is made in form of two back members on legs. Legs of back members are fastened in pair by means of bows, with their convex part downward. Panel has hole in its middle at distance of one third from leg end and is fixed to back members with help of springs stretched upward and downward. In this case, number of upper springs exceeds that of lower springs by a factor of 2. Generator is secured in panel hole with help of two bars connected with axle on which two bearings are fitted, for rotation of generator and maintenance of its parallel position relative to panel plane. Shaking bed is applicable in treatment of commissure disease, chronical inflammatory and adhesive processes in cavity of small pelvice, diseases accompanied with disturbance of arteriovenous blood circulation and lymph drainage. EFFECT: excluded physical stress in patient during vibration seance by varying amplitude and frequency of vibration and angle of trunk inclination due to improved design of bed. 3 dwg, 3 ex
