FIELD: human vital needs satisfaction.
SUBSTANCE: functional bed contains a frame base with wheels and hinges that form longitudinal and transverse axes of rotation of the pivotally connected sections with pose adjustment devices connected to the base through hinges of the longitudinal or transverse axis of rotation, having a positioning and locking mechanism for this axis, a rigid base with mattress. The main lying surface is a main mesh fastened to the sidewalls along each of the sections, consisting of a web of strong woven material, which is a sheet or cloth to which the sheet is fastened, and an additional lying surface is an additional rigid base with a matress fastened with locks under the main mesh to any section. In the mode of support on the transverse axis, the sections connection to the base occurs by means of a mechanism simulating a transverse axis passing through the center of gravity of the person plus the bed. The frame base is designed so that the main mesh on which the person lying in a horizontal position lies, can freely "run into" other horizontal surfaces; it contains an additional surface fastened to the sidewalls of the sections, for lying on the abdomen with an inverted body position.
EFFECT: increased comfort of care for patients.
