FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transformable device which can be adapted to different types of terrain and can overcome different obstacles. Proposed device contains closed flexible track supported from inner side by at least two support rollers which are arranged in first position so that one of support rollers applied force with component directed downwards to flexible track in point of its contact with earth surface, and springing arrangement for said flexible track to make it practically round in form Displacement mechanism is connected with at least one of support rollers for relative displacement of support rollers into second position in which support rollers make track attain position in which its elongated part comes in contact with earth surface. At least two support rollers are arranged on two ends of said part. Invalid's chair contains transportation device in which seat member is used as carrying structure. Closed flexible track contains inner device for displacement to form practically round shape. Track is made for deformation, when it is round, in point of contact with earth surface, and for attaining elongated configuration in which elongated part of track is in contact with earth surface. Invention makes it possible to get new transportation device suitable for transportation of vehicles, such as invalid's chairs, over different terrains at safe negotiation of obstacles.
