CONTAINER-TANK Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: rail, road and water transport. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to storage and transportation of liquids. Proposed container-tank has tank proper with bottom plates, two rectangular end face frames through center of which longitudinal axis of container passes which does not coincide with longitudinal axis of tank and having upper and lower crossmembers, vertical posts with grips in corners and upper and lower diagonal braces connecting vertical posts with crossmembers. Adapter shells are coupled by welding with bottom plates and rectangular end face frames. Four support beams secured on lower corners of end face frames and tank are arranged in pairs from each of tank. Support units are made in form of adapter cylindrical shells one of which is solid and other-sectional. Outer diameter of solid adapter shell and inner diameter of part of sectional adapter shell coincide with inner diameter of tank cylindrical shell. Upper and lower crossmembers, diagonal braces and vertical posts are displaced in end face frames relative to centers of grips inwards the container to align in open plane with side surfaces of grips pointed to tank.
