FIELD: rail, road and water transport; storage and transportation of liquids. SUBSTANCE: tank-container has body 1 with bottoms 2 whose longitudinal axis is located below and in parallel with container axis, two rectangular end face frames 3, adapter shells 4 welded to bottoms 2 and frames 3, support beams 5 arranged in pairs butt-to-butt or separately at both sides of body 1 and connecting body 1 with frames 3 by means of cylindrical sections mated with body surface through gaskets 17 whose thickness exceeds thickness of wall of support beam, and open reinforcement rings 6 enclosing the body from top to thrust against contact members 7. To decrease stresses in end face frames, body of tank-container is arranged as close as possible to lower load- gripping members to provide misalignment of longitudinal axes of cylindrical body and container. It is expedient to use adapter shells of special shape and support beams arranged and secured in definite manner. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 4 cl, 8 dwg
