FIELD: metallurgy of noble metals; pyrometallurgical processing of concentrates containing gold and silver. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes mixing starting concentrate with borax, calcium oxide and silicon-containing flux; mixture is molten and products thus obtained slag and gold-and-silver alloy are cooled down and separated. Novelty of invention consists in addition of sodium sulfate and carbon reductant to mixture; quartz sand or soda-lime glass is used as silicon-containing flux ; in the course of melting, additional sulfide product matte is obtained. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency due to increased content of gold and silver in target alloys. 3 tbl
