FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to alloys Al-Li of reduced density designated for their using as structural materials in aerospace technique. Invention proposes alloy and article made of thereof containing the following components, wt.-%: lithium, 0.5-2.5; scandium, 0.05-0.6; iron, 0.01-1.0; silicon, 0.01- 1.2; nickel, 0.005-1.0; beryllium, 0.0005-0.2; cerium, 0.005-0.1 and at least one element from the group containing the following elements: zirconium, 0.005-0.2; manganese, 0.005-0.6; chrome, 0.005-0.2; titanium, 0.005-0.2 and at least one element from the group containing the following elements: magnesium, 0.01-6.0; copper, 0.01-4.5; zinc, 0.01-1.5; aluminum, the balance. Proposed alloy can be used for making different members of power set and skin fuselages of plane constructions, among them, welding and also welding fuel tanks and members of space technique. Invention provides the development of alloy with reduced density and high level of destruction viscosity and isotropy of properties in three directions.
