FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves treating high-moor moss peat with sodium hydroxide; oxidizing treated peat with hydrogen peroxide at temperature of 120-125 C for 1.5 hours in the presence of catalyst, such as zeolite tuff, used in an amount of 0.5-2.0% by weight of organic peat; separating liquid phase, with following adding therein of ammonia solution until content thereof in ready product is 0.8-1.6 wt%.
