FIELD: plastic metal working, possibly manufacture of pin fitting for making envelopes of sheet materials. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes shaping chamber and working organs in the form of shaping rods. Hollow jackets engaged one with another are arranged on ends of shaping rods. Terminal jackets are arranged along periphery of shaping chamber and they are in contact with walls of said chamber. Apparatus has bands for sensing lateral efforts transmitted to walls of chamber from terminal jackets. Apparatus is also provided with controlled device for moving working organs; said device has unit for setting motion program of shaping rods depending upon current coordinates of intermediate surfaces of shaped blank and coordinate of final surface of article; said coordinates are read along axes of working organs. Jackets may be in the form concentrically arranged rings joined with groups of rods. EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities of apparatus. 2 cl
