FIELD: aircraft construction; rocketry; shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processing of metals by pressure and can be used in aircraft construction, rocketry, shipbuilding and other industries in the manufacture of large-sized blanks of parts from plates. The method for forming the workpiece of a part from plates includes heating the workpiece to the forming temperature in the creep mode, then holding the workpiece at the specified temperature in a fixed state until stress relaxation is achieved. The shaping of the blank is performed in one step. After heating the workpiece, it is deformed in a heated state by applying shaping forces to the workpiece in a direction orthogonal to the operational loads, which have static and cyclic components oriented parallel to each other, with the required ratio of the amplitudes of static and cyclic stresses. The magnitude of the efforts and the duration of their application are determined by the magnitude of the accumulated irreversible deformation at the control points.
EFFECT: it is possible to prevent possible springing of the material of the part, reduce damage to the material during shaping, increase the accuracy of shaping and reduce efforts during shaping.
