FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices aimed at adjusting rigidity of flexible suspensions of seats of vehicle and self- propelled processing machine operators. Proposed device contains chassis, insert in slots of which support plates made in bushing with possibility of changing said angle in process of adjustment of device. Bushing is installed coaxially to insert for angular displacement and is coupled with insert by means of flat resilient thin-walled members some of which are fitted in support plates through fixed angular spaces and others are installed in support plates for end face pressing. Geometric parameters of each resilient element and range of adjustment of working angular displacements of bushings within the limits of effective adjustment of suspension rigidity are related by the following equation: where r1,r2 - are of curvature of surfaces on which support plates are installed; h is thickness of resilient member; ϕ is range of adjustment of working angular displacements of bushing, said range being related with range of adjustment of angle ψ of support plate turning by following equation ψ = 1,08375•ϕ. Contact surfaces of resilient members are coated with non-compressible perfluorinated film. Invention makes it possible to decrease overall dimensions of rigidity adjuster at criterional limitations of parameters of geometric and elastic characteristics of suspension and enlarged range of effective rigidity control.
