FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: mechanical part of brake consists of brake cylinder, head and rear levers, equalizer whose ends are hinge-connected by short tie-rod with middle part of head lever, are connected by upper longer tie-rod with middle part of rear lever, and also longitudinal tie-rod and lower longer tie-rod by means of which force from brake cylinder is transmitted to vertical levers of brake leverage of outer (cantilever) and inner double-axle bogies which are components of four-axle bogie. To control extension of brake cylinder rod at braking, special regulator and regulator drive are provided, drive of regulator being lever connected by rod with head lever. Change of ratio of mechanical part is done by re-placing easy-to-get-at joints holding short tie-rod on head lever and equalizer and joint fastening equalizer proper to body.
