FIELD: rail vehicles.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly, to brake rigging of four-axle bogies of railway vehicles. Four-axle bogie brake rigging consists of four identical independent mechanisms arranged on bogie frame sides, each of which comprises a brake cylinder with a built-in rod output regulator, pivotally connected to the head vertical lever rigidly fixed on one end of the horizontal shaft, rear vertical lever is rigidly secured at opposite end of said shaft and articulated by lengthwise tie rods with four vertical double-arm levers arranged in series and embracing two adjacent wheels in pairs. Bottom arms of the double-arm levers are movably connected to transverse braking beams, on the ends of which there are rotary shoes and brake shoes fixed by suspensions to the bogie frame. Upper arm of double-arm lever furthest from rear vertical lever is hinged in one of several holes of bogie frame bracket. Upper arms of double-arm levers between adjacent wheels of external and internal wheel pairs are pivotally connected by driven longitudinal tie-rod made with possibility of its length adjustment.

EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability of the brake rigging of four-axle bogies of railway vehicles, simplified design, higher efficiency, and ensuring standard clearances between the brake shoes and wheels.
