FIELD: aviation. SUBSTANCE: proposed tip has step on leading edge located at 0.1-0.3 of length of local chord from leading edge of lifting surface and drain located in tail section of tip. Span of step is equal to 0.35-0.4 of tip span. Tip is formed by profiles at increased curvature and twist angles as compared with tip sections of lifting surface. Upper and lower surfaces of tip have curvilinear generatrices; middle surface is deflected downward by 4-6 deg. relative to lifting surface. End edge is made over straight line in parallel with incoming flow with drainage top located at end of edge. Trailing drain edge is smooth and curvilinear in plan.
