FIELD: building materials. SUBSTANCE: invention describes composition for protective coating comprising polyorganosiloxane, organic solvent, hardening agent, silicate, metal oxide and silicon carbide. Mixture of polymethyldimethylphenylsiloxane resin modified with pentaphthalic resin with polymethylphenylsiloxane resin taken in the ratio = 1-(3:1) of weight parts is used as source of polyorganosiloxane. Mixture of asbestos and mica taken in the ratio = 1-(2:1) weight parts is used as source of silicate. Composition contains components taken in the following ratio, wt.-%: mixture of polymethyldimethylphenylsiloxane resin modified with pentaphthalic resin with polymethylphenylsiloxane resin, 20-40; organic solvent, 4-15; hardening agent, 2-15; mixture of asbestos and mica, 30-70; metal oxide, 0.05-10; silicon carbide, 1-15. Invention provides the enhancement of water resistance, possibility for applying a thicker coating layer on vertical surface, enhanced resistance to wear, thermal stability and electric insulating properties.
