FIELD: electrical engineering; technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrically insulating silicone compositions hardened at room temperature that can be used as electrical insulation coatings for protection of electronic, radio and electrical devices and devices. Composition based on dimethylsiloxane rubber contains oxides of aluminum and gallium metals and catalyst K-18 in following proportions, pts.wt: dimethylsiloxane rubber CKTH-A – 100, aluminum oxide – 10–30, gallium oxide is 5–15, catalyst K-18 – 6. Gallium oxide contributes to the formation of a solid monolithic film, good adhesion to the substrate and increase in the electrical strength of a material. With the introduction of this oxide in a smaller amount, the protective properties of the coating deteriorate, mechanical and electrical strength decreases, and when it is introduced in large quantities, the adhesion of the coating to the surface to be treated deteriorates.
EFFECT: obtaining a composition with improved technical and operational properties – high electrophysical and mechanical properties.
