FIELD: generation of spatial data on Earth's crust. SUBSTANCE: method deals with generation of spatial data on Earth's crust with use of data of aerial photography employing digital photographic camera and data of laser sounding of terrain from board of aircraft, specifically, to aids and methods of formation of digital models of relief and orthophotoplans. Method consists in aerial photography of terrain with the aid of digital photographic camera and in formation of digital photographs. Pilotage and navigation data of aircraft that carries digital photographic camera are established in the form of coordinates at moment of aerial photography. Same terrain is scanned by laser beam simultaneously with aerial photography. First digital model of relief is formed by data obtained during laser scanning. Points related to favorable regions by specified authenticity are allocated from collection of points of laser scanning. Topological model of relief is formed by first digital model of relief and by data on points related to favorable regions. Points of topological model are distinguished in system of coordinates of each digital photograph with isolation of data on it on favorable regions. All above-mentioned digital photographs are divided by pairs subject to mutual orientation with formation of stereopairs. Stereopairs are formed by way of determination of conformable points in favorable regions of each digital photograph of mentioned stereopairs. Correction of external orientation of stereomodel is carried out by data of formed topological model. Orthophotoplan is formed with due account of obtained data. System for implementation of method includes digital photographic camera and laser scanner mounted on aircraft with pilotage-navigation complex, former of digital model of relief by data of laser scanning and unit processing data of digital aerial photography and forming orthophotoplan by data of digital photography and data of laser scanning. All given units are intercoupled properly.
