FIELD: chemical sources of electric energy. SUBSTANCE: current interrupting mechanism thermally actuated is built into unit of butt plug for chemical source of electric energy. Temperature-sensitive mechanism switches on freely floating bimetal disc or fusible mass of material to interrupt electric path in unit of butt plug. Unit of butt plug also has current interrupting mechanism sensitive to pressure. Mechanism sensitive to pressure is actuated to interrupt electric contact between diaphragm and plate in unit of butt plug to prevent flow of current through cell. Diaphragm bursts when extreme pressure of gas is accumulated. EFFECT: prevented flow of current through chemical source of electric energy with excessive rise of its temperature and safe switching on of chemical source of electric energy with formation of excessive gas pressure in it. 33 cl, 8 dwg
