FIELD: ferrous metallurgy; particularly, equipment for merchant-bar mills. SUBSTANCE: cooling conveyor rack for merchant-mill products incorporates system of movable and stationary transfer bars, leveling roller table consisting of alternating driven and idle biconical rollers installed between racks above their level, brake electromagnets installed below rolled product at the beginning of leveling roller table, and head end position transducer installed at the end of the roller table, at the same time biconical barrels of driven rollers of leveling roller table are installed below level of idle roller barrels, but not lower than level of racks and consist of two ferromagnet conical discs which are put on nonmagnetic shaft, while below them stationary double-pole electromagnets are placed. Opposite North and South poles of these electromagnets are flat and located with a gap outside in parallel with end surfaces of discs and each of them is provided with two pole pieces symmetrically located opposite each other on their inside upstream and downstream of roller. EFFECT: improvement of conveying and facing process by means of leveling roller table owing to electromagnet increase of frictional forces between roller barrel and rolled product, reduction of specific amount of metal and power of leveling roller table thanks to reduction of quantity of driven rollers, extended service life of driven rollers due to reduced wear of barrels. 4 dwg
