METHOD FOR MOLDING OF UNITS OF COMPOSITE MATERIALS AND ATTACHMENT FOR ITS REALIZATION Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2217309 C2

FIELD: manufacture of products of composite material, applicable for production of structures of such units as wing, empennage of the flight vehicle, empennage, high-lift devices, as well as freight compartment doors, etc. SUBSTANCE: the method consists of lining of layers of composite material on the members of the inner part of the attachment, their connection on lateral faces on the common base and lining of additional layers. After that autoclave molding is carried out, and the members of the inner part of the attachment are extracted from the molded unit. Before the autoclave molding the composite material is heated to a temperature within the range from the melting point of the low-melting material of the inner part of the attachment to the temperature of gelation of the binding composite material, this temperature is sustained to the complete melting-down the mentioned low-melting material After the autoclave molding the outer part of the attachment is disassembled and the members of the inner part of the attachment are extracted. The attachment for molding of units of composite material contains a set of molding members of the inner part of the attachment made in the form of flexible sealed covers and having the shape of the respective inner cavities of the unit made for installation on the outer part of the attachment made in the form of a rigid base, used as a material of the molding members is a low-melting material with a melting point below the temperature of gelation of the binding composite material. The outer part of the attachment is provided with interconnected and connected to the base additional rigid members. EFFECT: manufacture of units of modular construction of heightened complexity out of composite material, double curvature ones inclusive and with a complicated shape of cavities, with a high level of strength characteristics of the molded unit. 5 cl, 3 dwg
