Abstract RU 2217589 C2

FIELD: examination of wells and formations. SUBSTANCE: data determining device is loaded into cylindrical member and reactive fuel is charged into combustion chamber, device is sunk into well shaft to point near subsurface formation that is of interest. When reactive fuel is charged into combustion chamber the latter is coupled to cylindrical member. Combustion chamber is insulated from cylindrical member, reactive fuel is ignited inside combustion chamber by means of igniter coupled to combustion chamber. When pressure reaches specified value this pressure is transferred from reactive fuel inside combustion chamber to cylindrical member, under action of pressure data determining device is driven from cylindrical member and advances into subsurface formation. To achieve it device gas breakable disk or membrane to ensure communication between cylindrical member and combustion chamber through liquid. EFFECT: raised accuracy and reliability of placement of data determining device. 45 cl, 5 dwg
