FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition, in particular, to devices for barrel supersonic acceleration of kinetic action rockets. Device contains a cylindrical barrel. Barrel contains a chamber with a shutter, a gas-generating charge and an igniter. Projectile of kinetic action is placed in the chamber, it contains an armor-piercing rod with a guiding guide element. This element is located in the front of the projectile kinetic action. There is an onboard two-chamber jet engine with a nozzle block and a flight stabilizer. Inner surface of the chamber is tapered with an increase in the diameter of its cross-section from the barrel to the gate. Jet engine charge is made of a gas-generating paste-like fuel placed in a two-chamber elastic rapidly burning shell and reinforced with a fabric with a system of fire-conducting cords. Flight stabilizer is combined with the nozzle block and is made in the form of a hollow cone-shaped metal insert placed in the chamber coaxially with an armor-piercing rod rigidly connected with it and located open end to the gate made by gas-dynamic. Through nozzle openings are made on the side wall of the cone-shaped metal insert, they are evenly spaced around the cross-section of the insert.
EFFECT: ensuring the acceleration of the kinetic action of the projectile in the barrel of the jet-throwing device due to the complete combustion of the charge of the jet engine.
