FIELD: piezoelectric gas lighters. SUBSTANCE: piezoelectric gas lighter comprises body having gas reservoir, gas inlet lever and jet unit having jet and thimble-shaped jet cap. Gas inlet lever is arranged over gas reservoir and opens gas channel in response to switching button moving. One jet end is introduced into gas reservoir, the other jet end extends beyond gas reservoir. Jet cap is located around jet end and spaced a distance relative thereof such that combustion gas flows through the space. Jet end extending beyond gas reservoir has at least one auxiliary gas outlet orifice located at the side thereof. Combustible gas from reservoir flows through main gas outlet channel and through auxiliary gas outlet orifices. Jet has head, circumferential groove and circumferential flange located above jet groove. Flange diameter is greater than groove diameter. Jet head diameter is less than flange diameter. Jet cap has central vertical orifice. Jet cap inner surface is fixedly connected with jet flange. Cap upper part inner surface is polygon-shaped or sawtooth-shaped. Lighter has a number of peripheral gas-outlet orifices in addition to main gas outlet channel formed by presence or absence of contact points between jet head outer surface and jet cap inner surface.
