FIELD: mechanical equipment in heating and thermal furnace having roller hearths. SUBSTANCE: roller has cooled roller body fixed to shaft having longitudinal orifice, which communicates with cooling water supplying system. Shaft is mounted by two bearing brackets, which are located in case walls and equipped with cross-arm. Feeding nipple to feed water into barrel is mounted on cross-arm between bearing brackets. Nipple communicates with shaft longitudinal orifice through ring-shaped groove formed in cross-arm and radial orifices formed in shaft. Longitudinal grooves made at the shaft end near barrel are connected with barrel hollow and radial orifices for water input into case. Water output orifices are formed in case bottom. Roller rotary actuator is made as low-frequency electric AC motor linked with shaft end. EFFECT: increased service life of cantilever roller. 2 dwg
