SUBSTANCE: unit contains water-cooled roll with cavity of cooling, formed by central axial channel of cooling medium feeding, and by bearing units at two stationary supports in chocks, closed from butts by covers with compressions, unit of cooling water feeding, implemented in the form of rotating together with roll of bushing and frozen ring, and channels for removing of cooling medium. Rising of durability of bearings and simplification of mounting and disassembling for changing of unit is provided ensured by that it is outfitted by facility for bearings lubrication by oil-air flow, casings of water cooling of bearing units, consisting of two halves and adjoining to covers of chocks, located from side of roll barrel, with formation with covers of chocks of cooling chambers, in which it is located, installed in roller water-cooled ring and water-cooled cover from the side opposite to drive, forming cooling cavity with cover of chock. frozen ring of unit for feeding of cooling water is fixed in water-cooled cover, and bushing is fixed in roller by means of flange. Channels of removing of cooling water are implemented as radial and intercommunicating cooling cavity of roller with cooling chambers, allowing off-take openings implemented in the bottom part of casing.

EFFECT: invention is provided for design simplification and also increasing of its reliability, and also increasing of efficiency of temperatures aligning between roller and support of unit in stove, intermediate and removing roller beds of mills for hot rolling.
