SUBSTANCE: method involves providing formation of two layers of gelatinous semi-finished substance from components and/or other starch ingredients; cutting layers into succession of segments along parallel lines by means of cutting edges while providing relative movement composed of progressive motion substantially perpendicular to portion under cutting process combined with progressive motion extending in parallel with cutting lines; applying layers onto one another and stamping to separate cellular carcass from snacks, each of snacks being formed of two layers connected along their perimeters. Apparatus has cutting zone following continuous layer feeding zone, layer applying zone following cutting zone, and snacks formation zone. EFFECT: improved quality of ready product. 8 cl, 10 dwg
