FIELD: natural compounds, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: aloin is prepared from alloy yellow juice or its derivative by extraction and purification by crystallization. Extraction is carried out in the presence of aliphatic diol or triol of low molecular mass taken in the amount from 5 to 25% relatively to total mass of yellow juice. Glycol or glycerol is used as such diol or triol. Ethyl acetate or acetone is used as a solvent for extraction. Diol or triol is added to aloe yellow juice and concentrating is carried out before extraction. After extraction re-crystallization is carried out from alcohol in the presence of 0.5-5 wt.-% of water relatively to the total medium mass. Invention provides the enhanced yield of the end product.
