FIELD: anticorrosion protection for large metal containers, pipelines etc. SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with compositions for application of the anticorrosion coatings on ferrous metals and can be used for corrosion inhibition of large-sized metal containers, pipelines, that are subjected to actions of precipitations, air and aqueous mediums. The coating composition includes copolymer of vinyl ether and methylmethacrylate, which after transpiration of the dissolvent covers metals with a protecting film preserving metal from destruction.
