BALLISTIC SMALL ARMS Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: armament equipment and represents a structure of ballistic small arms used as a means for measurement of ballistic characteristics of cartridges of small arms designed for realization of shots at their tests. SUBSTANCE: ballistic small arms has a barrel, body, firing mechanism including a striker, firing pin with a spring and a trigger bar, loading member, screw regulator and a deformable member positioned between the loading member and the base of the screw regulator. The loading member in it is made in the form of a sleeve, whose front end face surface fits to the end face surface of the breech end of the barrel. A stepped slot that is open from the bottom and enveloping the flange of the cartridge case is made in the front part of the sleeve. The deformable member is made in the form of a group of crusher posts positioned in the seats made in the adapter installed on the tail-piece of the sleeve on the side facing the rear end face surface of the sleeve. The screw regulator is positioned in a threaded hole made in the rear part of the body for engagement of its base with the rear plane of the adapter. Positioned in the central through hole of the screw regulator in the front part is part of the sleeve tail-piece, and in the rear one- the stepped striker with the spring and the trigger bar fastened on its rear end. EFFECT: enhanced stability of measurement of the maximum pressure at a shot, provided use of the offered weapon as a single one for measurements of the maximum pressure, muzzle velocity and close grouping of shots. 3 dwg
