FIELD: domestic equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has funnel-shaped case adapted to be placed in vessel for boiling, with larger base of case being mounted on vessel bottom. Case is provided with bypass openings and/or slots formed in side surface portion closer to case large base. Slots are executed on base edge. Apparatus may be equipped with extender joined to case smaller base. Extender is made in the form of flat or convex rings, continuous rings or set of individual ring members or cascade of rings. Apparatus may be equipped with insert including extender. Extenders positioned on case or on insert are provided with radial or spiral grooves. Apparatus is used in preparing of liquid products, such as milk, bouillon, jams etc tending to foam during baking or cooking.
