FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves showing semantic symbols in hidden unconscious and conscious form. Behavioral and/or physiological responses are recorded with response time to unconscious stimulus being measured. Measurement results are grouped on belonging to the same semantic group. Two or more semantic groups are shown in unconscious masked form at least one of which is the tested one and a control group composed of numeric row and bearing no sense loading. Operator readiness is supported by showing stimuli with different time intervals and given rule for formulating answer. Stimuli of at least one semantic group are shown both in unconscious and conscious form containing words of different meaning and the rules for formulating answer the testee determines in empiric way during the test by taking into account acoustic and visual error indication signal. Statistical comparison of test and control semantic groups is carried out and subjective significance is determined on satisfying confidence criterion.
