SUBSTANCE: invention concerns polymer composite materials based on resoltype phenol-formaldehyde resins, divinylnitrile carboxyl-containing rubber, and inorganic fillers intended for manufacturing fire-resistant coatings against high-temperature attack. Composition contains, wt parts: phenolformaldehyde resin 14-47, divinylnitrile carboxyl-containing rubber 2.5-20, 2-mercaptobenzothiazole 0.05-0.62, chrysotile asbestos 35-65, cotton fiber 7-20, burned magnesia 0.08-0.5, zinc oxide 0.05-0.62, boric acid 0.02-0.075, and sulfur 0.04-0.32.
