FIELD: organic chemistry; production of phenolic plastics and compositions filled with finely divided layered materials based on cotton cloths, in particular, comminuted textolite wastes, and intended for manufacturing highly reliable electric equipment. SUBSTANCE: composition comprises novolac-type and resol-type phenolformaldehyde resins, kaolin, urothropin, polyvinyl butyral, finely divided textolite wastes, salycylic acid, burnt magnesia, and lubricant, said components being present in following weight ratio, wt. %: resol phenol formaldehyde resin, 27.8-37.2; novolac phenolformaldehyde resin, 9.3-18.6; urothropin, 1.1-1.8; kaolin, 6.1-12.9; finely divided textolite wastes, 29.3-34.6; polyvinyl butyral, 4.0-5.0; salycylic acid, 0.6-0.8; burnt magnesia, 2.0-2.7; lubricant, 3.0-3.2.
