Composite for removing paint and varnish coatings involves the following components, wt.-%: methylene chloride, up to 100; paraffin, 0.3-2.0; acetic acid, 1.0- 2.5; urotropin, 1.0-2.0; ethylcarbitol as a co-solvent, 0-5.0, or vat residue from production of benzyl alcohol, 0-15.0, or their mixture; high-molecular waste from production of A-25 as a thickening agent and evaporation retarding agent, 3.0-15.0.
