FIELD: inorganic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to new chemical compounds, in part, to chrome-cobalt-yttrium aluminide with low content of yttrium of the composition: Cr0,180 Co0,215 Al0,60 Y0,005, that can be used as material for heat-resistant plasma coatings of nickel alloys working at temperatures 900- 1000 C in the long-term regimen. Invention proposes method involving alloying chrome, aluminium, cobalt and yttrium in helium medium by three-fold remelting chrome, cobalt, aluminum and yttrium taken in the ratio = 0.18 : 0.215 : 0.60 : 0.0005, respectively, at 1500-1600 C, under pressure 350-400 mm mercury column for 15-25 min, cooling at the rate 25-35 degrees/s and homogenizing vacuum annealing at 950-1000 C for 18-20 h. Invention provides preparing new chemical compound, chrome-cobalt-yttrium aluminide with low content of yttrium exhibiting large heat-resistance that allows its using as material for plasma alloying heat-resistant nickel-base alloys working in the long-term regimen at high temperatures.
