FIELD: inorganic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to new chemical compounds, in part, to chrome-cobalt-yttrium aluminide of the composition: Cr0,195Al0,49Co0,137Y0,178. Method of producing this chemical compound involves smelting of chrome, aluminium, cobalt and yttrium under vacuum at ratio 0.195:0.49:0.137:0.178 at 1550-1625 C in helium medium under pressure 400 mm mercury column by three-fold remelting for 15-20 min, cooling at the rate 20-30 degrees/s and annealing under vacuum at 1000-1050 C for 22-24 h. Compound is used as a material used for plasma cover of heat-resistant alloys. EFFECT: improved method of producing the new compound. 1 tbl
